Facilitator training 2013
The Nobody's Perfect facilitator training is a four-day training session which covers the concepts and skills necessary to work with parents in a group setting. The training covers:
-Key concepts of the program and materials
-Adult education principles
-Organizing and planning program sessions
-Enriched practical facilitation skills
-Participants will receive a Facilitator's Guide and Parent Kit.

REQUEST FOR VOLUNTEERS
Age & Opportunity’s Entry Program for Older Adult Immigrants
requires culturally sensitive volunteers, who enjoy working with older adults to facilitate conversation circles for English as an Additional Language (EAL) learners. Duties will include utilizing available resource kits to initiate and stimulate conversations within small groups of 12-15 people.
Strong leadership skills and experience in group work with excellent written and verbal communication skills is a requirement.
Time commitment: 2 hours per week beginning in the week of September 24 to November 30, 2013 (10 weeks).
